Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ClashBase handles information when people visit clashbase.online. ClashBase is an independent fan-made website for base layouts, army plans, strategy articles and village tools. Website visitors do not need to create an account.

Information processed when you visit

The hosting and security systems used to deliver the website may process technical information such as an IP address, request time, requested page, browser type, device information and diagnostic or security events. This information is used to deliver pages, prevent abuse, investigate errors and maintain site reliability.

Information you choose to send

If you contact ClashBase by email, we receive the email address, subject, message and any information you include. We use it to respond, investigate reports and maintain a record of the request when needed. Do not send game passwords, account recovery codes, payment card numbers or other sensitive credentials.

Public reviews and copy activity

When you publish a review, ClashBase stores the display name, star rating, review text and submission time so the review can appear publicly. Do not include your real-world contact details, player login credentials or other sensitive information in a review. Clicking a copy button increments the public copy total for that base or army.

Base Finder screenshots

The Base Finder processes the selected screenshot locally in your browser. The image is not uploaded to ClashBase, sent to an external image-analysis service or stored on a server. The local visual matcher compares image patterns with published catalog layouts and returns approximate matches.

To limit duplicate reviews and artificial copy counts, the website creates a one-way anti-abuse identifier from limited connection and browser information. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the review or copy database. The identifier is used only for rate limiting, preventing duplicate submissions and maintaining trustworthy public totals.

Google Analytics

With permission, Google Analytics helps us understand general traffic, page visits, approximate location, device and browser information, referral sources and interactions with the site. We use aggregated reports to improve navigation, content and performance. The ClashBase analytics loader does not load Google Analytics when a visitor chooses “Reject non-essential.”

Advertising, cookies and similar technologies

The basic Google AdSense script is present in the page source for site verification and service initialization. Before a visitor makes a choice, Google Consent Mode defaults advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalization and analytics storage to denied. AdSense ad units are not rendered by ClashBase unless the visitor accepts non-essential technologies.

After permission is granted and advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies on a visitor’s browser or use web beacons, IP addresses and similar identifiers as a result of ad serving. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to ClashBase and other sites on the internet, where permitted.

Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Google describes how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services. Additional advertising partner choices may be available through the notices those partners provide.

Consent and your cookie choice

The website offers a choice between accepting all supported non-essential technologies and rejecting non-essential technologies. The choice is stored in the browser so it can be remembered. You can reopen the notice at any time below or through Cookie settings in the footer. Where additional certified consent messages are required for advertising, those messages may also appear.

External links

Base and army copy actions may open Clash of Clans, and some pages may link to other external services. ClashBase does not control those destinations. Their own privacy policies explain how they process information.

Data retention and security

Technical logs and support messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed for operation, security, legal obligations and responding to the request. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children’s privacy

ClashBase is a general-audience fan resource and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Visitors should not submit personal details through email. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information can contact us to request review.

Your questions and requests

Depending on location, visitors may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, objection or restriction of personal data. To ask a privacy question or make a request, email hello@clashbase.online. We may need enough information to understand and verify the request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page. See the Cookie Policy for more detail about storage and consent choices.
